    Directions to LCCC

 

This District Assembly Plus will provide information to Rotary club leaders to:

  • Sustain and/or grow their membership base
  • Implement successful projects that address the needs of their local as well as world wide communities
  • Support The Rotary Foundation through both program participation and financial contributions. 

The April 4th District Assembly Plus combines four required district training events into four “TRACKS”. This innovative plan saves you precious time. This format calls for a number of representatives from each club to be in attendance. As we prepare to work together in 09-10  the four Tracks are:

 

District Assembly  Preparing for 2009-2010 For Club President, President-elect, Secretary, Treasurer and members of the Rotary club assigned to serve in key leadership roles related to membership, public relations, club administration, service projects, fundraising, and The Rotary Foundation.

  • The District web site has made reporting easier for Club Secretaries. Come and learn new ways to use it.
  • Share the Goals for the coming year and the fellowship of Rotarians from other clubs in the District.
  • Exchange information on service and fund-raising projects.
  • Presentation and approval of the budget 
  • Discussion and decision on the Russian ICC project

Membership                         Time for a Booster Shot

For Club Membership Committee members and all Rotarians interested in membership

  • Retention                           Be part of a panel discussion featuring district clubs who
  • Recruitment                       have “boosted” their membership this past year. Learn
  • Revitalization                      how evaluations were done and new plans developed.

Team Training                    Supporting our clubs

For District Committee Chairs and committee members

  • Develop District Leadership Goals and a shared vision…
  • Understand administrative requirements in supporting clubs…  
  • Identify your roles in Making Dreams Real…
  • Design a communication plan to ensure clubs are aware of how district committees can support them…
  • Explore how district and club committees work together.

Youth Programs                 Extending the Family of Rotary for generations to come. 

For Club Youth Program Chairs, Interested Club Members and Youth Exchange Officers (mandatory training for new officers)

  • Reinvigorate your club with the inclusion of youth and young professional programs your club struggling to
  • Attract, Grow and/or retain a “younger member base / ideas for community based Rotaract Clubs to be presented
  • Involve youth program participants in your club projects
  • Mandatory training meeting on “How to certify your YE Program to Meet the RI / ESSEX Student Protection Policies”. New Club Youth Exchange Officers and/or Counselors must attend.
