District 1910 Eastern Europe

USA TEAM DEPARTS TO AUSTRIA: April 27-May 26, 2009

EUROPEAN TEAM ARRIVES USA: APRIL 17-MAY 18, 2009

Our District sends Group Study Exchange Teams abroad and we host a team in alternating years. As the name indicates, the exchange is like a trade of teams. The purpose is to sponsor a work team of young professionals who will learn about their field from their experience in another country. The GSE program is one of Rotary's gemstones funded by Rotarians througout the world throught their contributions to the Rotary Foundation. In 2009 the exchange is  with D-1910- in Eastern Austria, Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia.

4.  IS YOUR CLUB INTERESTED IN FINDING OUT MORE ABOUT THE GROUP STUDY EXCHANGE AND WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A PROGRAM AT ONE OF YOUR MEETINGS??   Our USA Team that traveled to Brazil is now scheduling presentations at clubs.
