Membership Committee

District 7430 Membership Committee (DMC)

The Mission:of the DMC is to enhance membership recruitment,and retention in conjunction with the District Governor and the District Leadership Team.  In support of this mission, the DMC will develop  strategies, tactics, and provide resources and educational programs to support of Club membership growth.

The DMC consist of:

1. Chair
2. Vice Chair
3. Membership Area Coordinators
4. At-Large Members (as appointed by the DG)

The District Membership Committee:

A.  Meets regularly, at least quarterly, and as needed for planning purposes.

B.  Plans, promotes and conducts an Annual Membership Workshop.

C.  Develops strategies and tactics for achieving District Membership goals.

D.  Develops and supports Area and Club programs on Membership recruitment and retention
     and development through the Membership Area Coordinators

E. Supports Membership Area Coordinators to develop collaboration among Clubs for membership recruitment, retention and development.

F.  Develops and maintains District resource materials in support of Areas and  Clubs

G. Assists with struggling Clubs, working with the DG to improve membership issues.

H. Works with the District Public Image Resource Chair to support Clubs in RI Public
    Image campaigns as a means for member recruitment.

I.  Works with the Rotary Leadership Institute Chair to provide means for member retention.

Membership Area Coodinartors (MAC):

Membership Area Coordinators exist to support their assigned Clubs to enhance membership recruitment and retention efforts by woking with the Club Membership Chairs and providing District resources as needed to achieve Club and District Goals.
