District 7430 Membership Growth

Our District Goal is a 10% NET growth this Rotary year as we work toward returning District 7430 to its membership level of 10 years ago, ~ 2.500 members.  Membership in Rotary is so important for Rotary and its Clubs to be able to support the "Objects of Rotary" and to enable Rotarians to do their good works.

During the 2007-2008 Rotary year the district has increased by 45 members (about 2 %)and has added a provisional RC, Lehigh Valley East.  RI President D.K. Lee is asking every RC to obtain a net increase  of 10%.in 2008-09  If your club numbers are not going up, maybe you should speak with your club leaders about how the club can organize for growth and and how the club can take advantage of the of the DMC support.

Our District Membership Committee (DMC) provides resources, mebership development materials and support.  Contact DMC Chair: Terri Simmons, terri823@comcast.net to get started.

The district gets a monthly update of our membership growth being reported that comes from submissions made by clubs each month of their attendence reports.  An up-to-date tracking chart will be added here to allow all Rotarians to follow the district's progress.

The district Membership Chair is required to report the headcount in each RC every three months to the Zone 32 Membership Coordinator.  It is critical that each RC Secretary post their monthly attendance and headcount information as required by our District and by RI.  You have the data;   please share it.

To submit your reports, contact our Distirct Secretary, Tom Hartzell rthartzell@hmk-ins.com
