D7430 District Governor
Linda began her Rotary Career in the Quakertown Club in 2001, where she served as Club President, and has grown increasingly more committed to the goals of Rotary and the power of Rotarians and Clubs to improve the lives of people locally and internationally. She was asked to become a charter member of the Rotary Club of Saucon in 2007. She served four years as Assistant Governor in Area 6 and is currently proud and honored to be the District Governor.
Linda has served on most Club Committees and several District Committees throughout her Rotary experience. She chaired the District Rotaplast Committee and has been a mission participant. She served as the District Rotary Leadership Institute Chair and is a faculty member for RLI, PETS, and District Educational Events. She is proud of the participation of District Rotarians in these educational events and feels that each opportunity to learn about Rotary builds leaders and strengthens our Rotarians and Clubs to “do good for others.”
“Rotary Serves Humanity”, our theme for this year encompasses all we do as Rotarians every day. I am promoting the theme that we are all “Shining Stars” as we serve humanity and each other. How will we make a difference in the world during this Rotary Year? I can’t wait to see the results of all the hard work that will be done this year. Thank you for “serving!”
Linda is proud to be a nurse and retired from a 40 year career in Nursing Management in 2012. She currently is a health care consultant and serves as adjunct faculty at DeSales University and Moravian College. She attributes her success to the unconditional support she has received from her husband of 40 years, Ray and her parents. Linda and Ray have two daughters, Emily and Ellen. They are also the proud grandparents of 6-year old twins, Mya and Leo, who are the loves of their lives. The addition of grand-dog Sydney makes the entire family smile!
