D7430 is very active in support of our Foundation and also involved in many  TRF International and Local grant projects, We were one of the first in our zone to do a multi year Child and Maternal Health International Vocational Training Team project

and many other international projects and in the last 2 years our clubs have done over 35 District Grant humanitarian projects to benefit those less fortunate in their local communities

YOUTH

Since 1963, clubs in our district have participated in International Youth Exchanges. Over the course of our 40 year history we have hosted and sponsored well over 1,000 students here and abroad.

Along with many local achievement awards and recognition clubs give to the students at the schools in their area they also send many to "Camp Neidig"  "A leadership camp that brings together talented high school students for a four-day weekend of fun, friendship, and team-building activities. Campers will interact with guest speakers from various professional backgrounds who will discuss what it means to be a good leader". Which D7430 has been successfully running for over 40 years

We are also very proud of the growth of our youth Four Way Speech Contest  which this year had over 100 students competing from  26 clubs in our district and is continuing to grow!

This and the fact that our clubs support more than 34 Interact & 5 Rotaract Clubs show all the hard work our Clubs do with our youth

Something we love in D7430 and in the last couple of years have had exchanges with Rotarians from Australia, Wales, Turkey, Argentina, Sweden and England

Above are just a sample of the many Things we Rotarians enjoy doing in D7430 along with the many fundraising events and local programs each of our 45 club supports , if you would like to know more, please contact me and I would be delighted to tell you or even better recommend a club near you that you can visit and find out more of why we all follow our motto "Service Above Self" to try and help others less fortunate & inspire each other as we do
