Welcome to the 2022 2023 Rotary Year
Imagine…...What we can do together in 2022 2023

As we begin our new Rotary Year—let’s all Imagine what we can do together: engage in Imaginative service projects, Imagine all the fun we can have, imagine all the new friends and contacts we can make both locally and around the world!

We are going to keep our year together Simple- but focus on re-engaging all of our current members, add new members while having fun and fellowship.

Each month we will have one newsletter and update our website to keep all of our members informed. We will offer a number of activities for us all to participate in.

Let’s see what we can Imagine together!    DG Len

Our 2022 Annual District officer Changeover

On June 28 our annual District Officer Changeover was a lot of fun with 115 Rotarians at the Brookside Country Club in Pottstown.

We thank DG Bob Hobaugh for his service as our 2021-2022 District Governor and Welcome Len Gieseler as our new 2022 -2023 District Governor.

We welcome Diane Donaher as our District Governor Elect and Katie Farrell as our District Governor Nominee.

Thank you to all Rotarians that attended.   You helped make the evening special.

Across North America, there are many new innovative Rotary Clubs forming. These clubs can be satellites of existing clubs or completely new clubs. In our district, we have several “Next-Gen” satellite clubs where members are typically 35 years old or younger. Also, the Hamburg, PA, club recently started the “Helping Hands” satellite to support people with disabilities.

Across the Northeast United States, new cause-based clubs have started with club names such as: E-club of International Innovators, District 7150 Environment satellite, Community Peace and Environment Passport, World Disability Advocacy, E-club of Global Diversity and Environment, Southeastern PA Eco satellite, and G.O.A.L.S. (Global Outreach and Local Service). There are many other Innovative Clubs in the pipeline being formed. Rotary International is encouraging us to start Innovative Clubs to increase our impact, expand our reach, enhance participant engagement, and increase our ability to adapt.

At the Rotary International Convention in Houston earlier this month, Terry Weaver and Herb led a breakout presentation on building your club-specific membership growth plan to about 350 Rotarians!

Rotarians from across District 7430 turned out to volunteer for the Rotary Day of Service – view our slideshow video for some highlights showing the variety of environmental projects that our 40+ clubs supported. We planted flowers and trees, built fences, cleaned parks and streams, and even cleaned along our highways. #D7430RotaryDay  #RotaryDay
