Welcome 2026. May we grow, serve, heal, love, and celebrate our blessings.
January is Vocational Service month
Vocational Service in Rotary is the avenue that encourages members to use their professional skills and talents to serve others, uphold high ethical standards, and recognize the worthiness of all useful occupations. It's about elevating professions as opportunities to serve, mentoring youth, promoting integrity, and contributing expertise to solve community needs.
The essence of this is captured in the 4-Way Test.
The success of our clubs is proof positive of vocational service. We can not be the members we are and serve the way we do without the talents and ethics we employ.
It's my honor to serve and Unite for Good with YOU.

Council on Resolutions

Caring for Our Mental Health in the New Year
Caring for mental health doesn’t require grand gestures. Small, consistent habits make a powerful difference. Taking time to rest without guilt, setting realistic commitments, and creating boundaries around our schedules help prevent burnout. Simple practices like regular movement, time outdoors, and moments of quiet reflection can restore clarity and resilience. Read on for more insights and reflection from our district committee.

The Rotary Club of Pursat is excited to share the latest progress on the Global Grant. Thanks to the generosity of our Rotary District 7430, a major sponsor, $15,000 was contributed, leveraging an additional $12,000 from the RI World Fund. This initiative began with a proposal from Mike Orbin (Bethlehem Morning Star Rotary Club), and was supported by his previous Club, the Allentown Rotary Club, which contributed $7,500 to the Rotary Foundation. The 7th Quarterly Report provides detailed insights into the progress and financial management of this Global Grant over the period July 2025 through September 2025. You can access the report here.

Disease Prevention & Treatment: Think About Floridation
In May of 2025, the FDA announced the intention to remove fluoride supplements from water starting in October 2025. Dr. Lawrence Stone, a longstanding member of the Warrington Rotary Club, has been speaking out about Community Water Fluoridation (CWF) to educate fellow Rotarians and would be honored to provide a presentation to your club.
Dr. Stone is a former Senior Assistant Dental Surgeon with the United States Public Health Service and has served on 2 Rotaplast missions. After practicing for over 45 years in the Doylestown area and serving as past president of the Montgomery-Bucks Dental Society, he is currently volunteering at the Health Link Dental Clinic in Hatboro and the Ann Silverman Clinic at Doylestown Hospital. He can be reached by phone at 267-261-1906 or by email atLhstone1047@gmail.com

Reading Public Museum Arboretum Cleanup
The Wilson School District Interact Club, Rotaract Club of Berks County, and West Reading-Wyomissing Rotary Club joined other community volunteers for a cleanup day at the Reading Public Museum Arboretum.
Rotary Club of Doylestown hosted a highly regarded peacemaker, Majid Alsayegh, who spoke about "Pathway to Peace in Palestine" at the Doylestown Library on 12/3/25. Majid is a man born in Iraq, of an Iraqi father and an American mother. Raised in both places, and subjected to prejudices, he has focused his spare time on trying to help disparate groups find common ground to resolve conflict. He has been so successful that the Vatican recently invited him to help lead a discussion between young adults of Jewish, Muslim, and Christian faiths to figure out a pathway to peace for the Middle East. He shared his stories with the club and left all hopeful. Not surprisingly, the 4 Way Test values were recognized in his methods.
The Allentown Rotary club filled December with service projects that included a winter coat drive with the Salvation Army and distributing $10,000 in grants to combat the emergency food crisis. They were featured in the Valley Ledger, and you can also read more here.
The Whitehall Rotary Club had a successful Jingel Bell run/walk in December. The club makes quarterly donations to three local food banks. This past month, they funded the hotel bills that were in arrears for two local homeless families.
The Warminster Rotary Club sponsored the third annual township tree lighting event at the beginning of December with free (small) gifts and refreshments for all. The community event also featured musical performances, a snow field for kids to play in, a visit from Elsa and Olaf, and of course Santa's grand entrance! Read more about it as reported in Patch.com.
The Newtown Rotary Club had a December to remember!
They facilitated over 1,600 gifts for the Angel Tree organization, supported a local homeless shelter, prepared food trays with the American Legion, volunteered for Wreaths Across America, and much more.
The Rotary Club of Kutztown is celebrating its 100th anniversary throughout Rotary Year 2025-2026. This Centennial includes legacy gifts, monthly service projects, and a 100th Anniversary dinner party, which will be held on April 1, 2026 at the Astor Event Center in Allentown.
The Pottstown Rotary Club will be holding a Designer Bag Bingo Brunch on 2/15/26. Check it out!
Shoutout to Spring Township Centennial Rotarians and Veterans Coalition of Pennsylvania -VCOP squeezed in another act of kindness in 2025. A heartfelt thank you to Steve Skrocki and Michael Weil for making possible the donation of a car to a veteran in need. This generous act is a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together to support those who have served.
