February 2026

Welcome to The District 7430 Rotary Roundup

February is Peacebuilding and Conflict Prevention month.

In light of today’s headlines, this feels especially meaningful. Paul Harris saw peace as something we build together—through friendship, understanding, and genuine goodwill.

Hatred and contempt stem from a lack of knowledge.

As Rotarians, we share a common mindset toward this theme. Each of us, no matter how small a gesture, contributes to a world of peace by virtue of who we are and what we do.

Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me.

STEM YEA - Does Your Club have a local rep?
Twenty-three clubs in District 7430 have a representative for the STEM YEA (Youth Explorer) Academy. These volunteers are local club cheerleaders and work with their school districts to provide information about the program. The schools then nominate students that the Rotary Club sponsors.  Local Club Reps are an essential part of STEM YEA.  Click this link to see if your club has a representative.
If you want to know more about STEM YEA, check out our website (STEM YEA | Home) or contact Gwenn Carr at gwenn.carr@verizon.net.
